As the countdown to the 153rd Open Championship begins, golfers from around the world are battling through Final Qualifying on Tuesday, July 1, for one of the few remaining spots at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland.

A minimum of 20 spots into The Open field will be distributed across four historic venues.

Each site is expected to grant five spots, subject to final confirmation by The R&A.

In case of a tie for the final place, a hole-by-hole playoff will determine who advances.
