The first round of the 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon kicks off on Thursday, featuring the world's top golfers competing for the final major championship title of the year.

Scottie Scheffler aims for his second major win of the season, following his victory at the Travelers Championship. PGA Championship winner Xander Schauffele and Rory McIlroy, coming off a second-place finish at the U.S. Open, are also in the field. Tiger Woods will compete in all four majors in a season for the first time since 2019.
