Nicholas Gabrelcik wins Gator Invitational, strengthens hold on No. 3 Ranking in PGA TOUR University

Nicholas Gabrelcik, a senior at the University of North Florida, secured his ninth collegiate victory at the Gator Invitational, finishing 13-under for the tournament. This win further solidified his position as the No. 3 player in the PGA TOUR University Ranking. Gabrelcik has an impressive record with 16 top-10 finishes in 20 starts.

In the latest rankings, Michael Thorbjornsen holds the No. 1 spot, followed by Christo Lamprecht at No. 2. William Moll and Austin Greaser complete the top five.

Notable movements include Ben Lorenz of Oklahoma jumping from No. 13 to No. 9 after a strong performance at the Puerto Rico Classic, where he finished tied for third. Additionally, Bastien Amat of the University of New Mexico climbed into the top 30 after winning the individual title at the John Burns Intercollegiate.

Several top-ranked players are set to compete at the Southern Highlands Collegiate, including Dylan Menante, Gustav Frimodt, John Marshall Butler, Austin Greaser, and Ben Lorenz.
